**Actor Jonathan Joss Fatally Shot Following Argument, Suspect in Custody**

San Antonio, TX – Jonathan Joss, the esteemed actor renowned for giving life to the character John Redcorn on the animated series King of the Hill, was tragically killed in a shooting incident. San Antonio police confirmed the 59-year-old's death on Saturday, reporting that officers arrived on the scene during the shooting and discovered Joss near the road. Despite attempts to save him, he was pronounced dead at the location.

The police report indicates that Joss succumbed to injuries from "multiple gun shots." The shooter, identified as 56-year-old Sigfredo Alvarez Ceja, has been apprehended. Initial reports from TMZ suggest that the tragic incident stemmed from a heated dispute between neighbors.

In a heartfelt Facebook post, Joss's husband, Tristan Kern de Gonzales, expressed his sorrow and anger, stating that Joss was "murdered by someone who could not stand the sight of two men loving each other." He remembered Joss as a loving partner who gave more love than most people experience in a lifetime. "I was with him when he passed. I told him how much he was loved," he shared.

Earlier this year, in January, Joss faced another tragedy when he lost his home and two dogs in a fire. The house, built by his father in the 1950s, was a significant loss. Yet, Joss remained hopeful, writing on Facebook, "We may have lost our home, but not our hope. We're moving forward with love, humor, and a little elbow grease...and we're incredibly grateful for every ounce of support."

Joss's career began with an appearance in Walker, Texas Ranger before he secured the role of John Redcorn in the popular animated show King of the Hill, created by Mike Judge and Greg Daniels. He continued to be a central voice on the show until it ended after 13 seasons, with a reboot planned for this year.

Apart from acting, Jonathan Joss was also a musician, performing with The Red Corn Band, a nod to his famous character. Just recently, he shared his enthusiasm for the support received at a recent performance, writing on Facebook, "Last night's gig was amazing - huge thanks to everyone who came out and showed us love! We're feeling so grateful for the support and good vibes."

Jonathan Joss's untimely death has left a void in the hearts of many, but his legacy in the entertainment industry and the memories he created with loved ones will endure.
