Variety's senior awards editor, Clayton Davis, is set to make a comeback as the host of the Oscars pre-show, "Countdown to Oscars: On the Red Carpet Live," which will be airing on ABC. The pre-show is scheduled to be broadcast from 1:00-4:00 p.m. EDT/10:00-1:00 p.m. PDT.

Davis, who has been diligently tracking awards season for Variety since 2020, will bring his expertise and predictions to the Oscars pre-show, giving viewers an insightful glimpse into the most anticipated event in the film industry. His predictions for this year's Oscars are available on Variety's platform.

The pre-show will be hosted by Linsey Davis and Whit Johnson, both well-known anchors of "World News Tonight" weekend edition. The show will feature exciting highlights of the awards show, live interviews with nominees and presenters, and an exclusive sneak peek into the Governors Ball – the official post-Oscars celebration.

Joining Davis, the pre-show will have a stellar lineup of reporters, including Eva Pilgrim and DeMarco Morgan, co-anchors of "GMA3: What You Need to Know"; ABC News correspondent Chris Connelly; and ABC News contributors Kelley Carter and Mike Muse. Celebrity stylist Joe Zee will also be part of the team, adding his unique insights into the fashion choices of the stars.

In addition to the Oscars pre-show, ABC has announced that Vanessa Hudgens will return for the third time to host "The Oscars Red Carpet Show." She will be accompanied by Julianna Hough as the co-host for the special. This 30-minute program will air on March 10 at 6:30 p.m. EDT/3:30 PDT, offering an exclusive look at the red carpet arrivals, as well as highlighting the Oscar nominees, performers, and presenters.

The Oscars ceremony itself will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel and will take place at the Dolby Theatre. This year, the event will be held at a new time, starting at 4 p.m. PDT. Following the ceremony, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos will host a special program called "After the Oscars," set to air at 9 a.m. EDT the next day. This show will provide a comprehensive breakdown of the biggest moments and winners from Hollywood's grandest night.

With an impressive lineup of hosts, reporters, and insiders, ABC aims to deliver an entertaining and in-depth coverage of the Oscars, keeping viewers informed and engaged with the most significant film event of the year.
