### Roman Wilson Set for NFL Debut with Steelers Against Raiders
LAS VEGAS -- Pittsburgh Steelers rookie wide receiver Roman Wilson is finally set to make his NFL debut this Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders. This comes over two months after Wilson sprained his ankle during the first padded practice of training camp.
The young talent from Michigan, selected in the third round of the 2024 draft, was sidelined for most of the training camp due to the injury. He was also on the injury report for the initial two weeks of the regular season. Although he exited the injury report in the third week, he remained inactive in the following three games.
Wilson's inclusion is a significant addition for the Steelers, particularly for their receiving corps, which has been struggling with depth issues behind their leading wideout George Pickens. Pickens, notably, played a career-low 34 snaps in last week's defeat to the Dallas Cowboys.
The Steelers currently rank 27th in the NFL for passing yards, averaging 178 yards per game, a slight decrease from their 187 yards per game last season. Wilson's arrival could provide a much-needed boost to their offensive capabilities as they look to improve their standings in Week 6.
