**Former NFL Star Adam "Pacman" Jones Arrested Again in Greater Cincinnati**
CINCINNATI -- In the early hours of Saturday morning, former NFL defensive back Adam "Pacman" Jones found himself in legal trouble once again. According to court records, Jones was arrested in greater Cincinnati and booked into Kenton County jail just before 2 a.m.
The Covington Police Department charged the 41-year-old with alcohol intoxication in a public place, disorderly conduct, and assault of a police officer or probation officer. By 11:30 a.m. the same day, Jones had posted a $10,000 bond and was released from custody. Details surrounding his arrest remain scarce as the incident is still under investigation.
This latest arrest marks at least the fourth time since 2021 that Jones has been detained by law enforcement. Notably, he has been arrested on charges of public intoxication for three consecutive years. Earlier in 2023, Jones was removed from a flight at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport and faced similar charges, including disorderly conduct and terroristic threatening.
Jones' legal troubles are not limited to this year. In 2022, he was arrested for public intoxication and assaulting a peace officer while attending the Jake Paul-Mike Tyson boxing event in Arlington, Texas. The most severe incident occurred in 2021, when Jones pleaded no contest to two counts of misdemeanor assault following an altercation at a Cincinnati bar, resulting in an 18-day jail sentence.
Jones, who was the sixth overall pick in the 2005 NFL Draft, enjoyed a 12-season career in the league from 2005 to 2018, with eight of those seasons played for the Cincinnati Bengals. He earned All-Pro honors as a kick returner in 2014 and made the Pro Bowl in 2015 as a cornerback.
