Mount Arafat holds historical significance as Prophet Muhammad delivered his final speech, known as the Farewell Sermon, at this sacred site approximately 1,435 years ago. In his sermon, the Prophet called for equality and unity among Muslims, leaving behind a powerful message that resonates with the faithful to this day.

The Hajj pilgrimage is one of the largest religious gatherings on Earth. The official commencement of the rituals took place on Friday when pilgrims made their way from Mecca's Grand Mosque to Mina, a desert plain located just outside the city.
