Michael McCarthy joins as the offensive coaching assistant/quality control, while T.C. McCartney takes over as the quarterbacks coach. Scott Peters assumes the position of offensive line coach, and Tiquan Underwood joins as the assistant wide receivers coach.

On the defensive side, the Patriots have added several new faces to enhance their coaching staff. Vinny DePalma comes in as the defensive coaching assistant/quality control. Dont'a Hightower, a former player for the Patriots with an impressive career, takes on the role of inside linebackers coach. Jamael Lett joins as a defensive coaching assistant/quality control, while Jerry Montgomery becomes the new defensive line coach. Drew Wilkins assumes the position of outside linebackers coach.

Special teams also see some changes with the addition of Tom Quinn as the special teams assistant coach. Coby Tippett joins as the special teams coaching assistant/quality control.

In addition to the coaching staff, Brian McDonough, who has consulted with the team for over 20 years, is hired as the assistant strength and conditioning coach. McDonough brings a wealth of experience in sports performance training.
