In a recent legal dispute, a Texas judge has upheld the decision that requires Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones to undergo a paternity test in response to a case brought by a 27-year-old woman named Alexandra Davis, who claims Jones is her biological father. The ruling, which was made in 2022, followed an appeal by Jones challenging the constitutionality of a Texas law that mandates genetic testing in such cases.

The lawsuit alleges that Jones had a relationship with Alexandra's mother in the mid-1990s, leading to Alexandra's birth. A settlement reached in 1998 reportedly outlined financial support for Alexandra and her mother as long as the paternity remained undisclosed publicly. However, Davis has since dropped this case and opted to pursue proving Jones' paternity instead.

Jones, who has been married to his wife, Gene, since 1963, denies the allegations and insists that he is not Alexandra's father. The lawsuit claims that Jones had a relationship with Cynthia Davis, Alexandra's mother, while she was working for American Airlines in Little Rock, Arkansas.

According to court documents, Alexandra Davis has allegedly received significant financial support from Jones throughout her life, including lump sum payments at specific ages. The ongoing legal battle between Jones and Davis sheds light on a complex and highly publicized case involving the prominent NFL team owner.
