A judge has ruled that Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones must undergo a DNA test as part of a lawsuit filed by a woman who claims to be his daughter. The lawsuit was brought by 27-year-old Alexandra Davis in 2022 and aims to establish paternity. Jones's legal team argued during a hearing that Davis's mother's husband at the time should be presumed as her father. However, the court has ordered Jones to submit to DNA testing to determine the truth. The lawsuit also sought to invalidate a previous financial agreement between Davis's mother and Jones. Davis's lawyer, Kris Hayes, hailed the ruling as a "huge victory," expressing hope that it will bring peace to Davis and other families in similar situations. Last year, Davis filed a defamation lawsuit against Jones and others, which was partially dismissed but has since been refiled.
