Kelce, along with Kansas City Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes, fell victim to thieves who hit their upscale properties within a mere 24-hour span. While Mahomes reportedly lost jerseys, medals, trophies, and awards, Kelce's property was pillaged of approximately $100,000 worth of jewelry, along with his first Super Bowl jersey. ABC News, via Michigan’s WCSY radio station, reported that Kelce's watch was located in Providence, Rhode Island this week. Initially, the police had not disclosed the theft of the watch, though it was confirmed that $20,000 in cash had been taken from his residence.

The spate of burglaries has prompted the NFL to issue a security alert, warning team security directors and the players' union about the organized criminals targeting professional athletes' homes. Further reports indicate that Mahomes’ Belton house was targeted around midnight on October 6, and Kelce’s residence was breached on October 7, coinciding with the Chiefs' game against the New Orleans Saints at Arrowhead Stadium.
