**Authorities on High Alert as Manhunt for Travis Decker Intensifies in Washington State**

WENATCHEE, Wash. - Just days prior to allegedly murdering his three young daughters, Travis Decker reportedly conducted online searches on how to move to Canada, as revealed in documents obtained by KING 5. Law enforcement officials acquired a search warrant and retrieved records from Google, highlighting multiple searches for relocation to Canada on Decker’s account.

On May 26, Decker specifically searched for terms such as "how does a person move to Canada," "how to relocate to Canada," "jobs Canada," and even visited a website dedicated to job opportunities in Canada. In response, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) announced its collaborative efforts with U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police to track down wanted individuals and secure communities on both sides of the border. The CBSA emphasized that its officers utilize "lookouts" to identify high-risk travelers but clarified that the Royal Canadian Mounted Police are responsible for areas between official border crossings.

Decker faces charges of kidnapping and murdering his three daughters: Olivia, aged 5; Evelyn, aged 8; and Paityn Decker, aged 9. The tragic incident occurred during a planned visitation that started on Friday, May 30, but the girls were never returned home as scheduled that evening. Authorities discovered their bodies approximately 11 miles from the Pacific Crest Trail, a scenic hiking route stretching from Mexico to the Canadian border, cutting through several secluded areas in Washington state.

Washington state officials have intensified the search for Decker by closing trails and recreational spots. They describe Decker, a military veteran, as an avid outdoorsman with extensive survival skills, possibly making his way along the secluded Pacific Crest Trail. Chelan County Sheriff Mike Morrison suggested that Decker might have pre-planned his evasion by setting up resources in remote locations before his disappearance.

Residents and cabin owners in the remote regions of Chelan, Kittitas, King, Snohomish, and Okanogan counties have been advised to take precautionary measures. Authorities recommend keeping doors locked, window blinds open, and exterior lights on as the manhunt continues.
