**Biden Denounces Russian Assault on Ukrainian Energy Infrastructure**

President Joe Biden has fiercely condemned the latest Russian attacks on Ukraine that have left over a million households without power. According to CNN, this marks the 11th significant assault on Ukraine's energy supplies by Russia this year, as confirmed by the Energy Ministry in Kyiv. The attacks have resulted in nationwide rolling blackouts, severely impacting the Ukrainian populace.

A White House statement issued on Friday morning highlighted that Ukrainian officials have reported nearly 200 missiles and drones being launched by Russia. These attacks targeted cities and essential energy infrastructure, plunging numerous civilians into darkness by cutting off their electricity supply.

Biden conveyed a message of solidarity to the Ukrainian people, stating, "The United States stands with you." He also took a critical stance against Russian President Vladimir Putin, adding, "Russia continues to underestimate the bravery, resilience, and determination of the Ukrainian people. The United States stands with more than 50 countries in support of Ukraine and its fight for freedom."

In response, Putin defended the attacks as retaliation for Kyiv's use of long-range American missiles and issued a warning that more strikes could follow.
