Vienna, Austria - In a shocking development, authorities have apprehended a third teenager in connection with the thwarted terrorist attack targeting a Taylor Swift concert in the city. The 18-year-old Iraqi citizen, residing in Austria, has been linked to the main suspect and recently pledged allegiance to the Islamic State.

The capital city of Vienna was preparing for three highly anticipated concerts by Taylor Swift, scheduled to take place from Thursday to Saturday. However, all three performances were canceled after authorities arrested two teenagers earlier this week in connection with a plot to unleash violence on the sold-out, 50,000-seat stadium.

Chancellor Karl Nehammer of Austria has unveiled distressing details of the plot, stating that it was designed to leave a "trail of blood." The police are conducting an extensive investigation into the matter. Fortunately, after the main suspect confessed to the planned attack, authorities have announced that the immediate threat has been neutralized.

The main suspect, a 19-year-old Austrian citizen with North Macedonian descent, had allegedly radicalized himself online and sworn allegiance to the Islamic State. As part of their investigation, law enforcement officials are examining a network of individuals linked to the suspect. However, due to privacy regulations, the authorities have chosen not to publicly disclose the suspects' identities.

Adding to the gravity of the situation, the authorities have now revoked the residency permit of the 18-year-old Iraqi citizen under a special provision intended for dealing with dangerous refugees or immigrants. This decision comes in light of his recent pledge of allegiance to the Islamic State. While not directly involved in the plot, investigations have revealed that the man had been in contact with the main suspect and was part of the same "social environment."

During a raid on the main suspect's residence, police officers discovered alarming evidence, including chemicals used in bomb-making, explosives, timers, machetes, knives, and even a functioning police siren. It is believed that the suspect intended to employ these materials to gain unauthorized access to the stadium area or facilitate movement within it. Forensic analysis is currently underway to examine electronic devices and other items seized during the search.

The cancellation of the Taylor Swift concerts has disappointed an estimated 200,000 fans, some of whom had traveled from different continents to witness her performance as part of her Eras Tour. As of now, Taylor Swift has not made any public statements regarding the concert cancellations.

Following further investigation, a 15-year-old boy, initially held for questioning in relation to the plot, has been released and is now being regarded as a witness. Although not directly involved, the boy possessed significant knowledge about the plot and has corroborated essential aspects of the main suspect's confession.

The swift actions of the authorities have undoubtedly averted a potential tragedy, and investigations are ongoing to ensure the safety and security of the public.
