An arrest warrant has been issued for Hector David Rivera, best known for his role as the Green Ranger in the "Power Rangers" franchise, after allegedly assaulting an elderly man in Idaho. The incident occurred on Friday, when Rivera reportedly pushed the man to the ground following a verbal altercation about a parking issue, according to the Nampa Police Department.

The victim, who was using a walker at the time of the assault, was left on the ground by Rivera who then drove away from the scene, as stated by the police. Fortunately, the injured man received assistance and is expected to recover from the incident.

To aid in the identification of Rivera as the suspect, the police department shared video footage of the assault along with a photo of the actor on their Facebook page. Authorities are actively seeking his arrest.

At the time of reporting, it remains uncertain if Rivera has retained legal counsel, and ABC News has been unable to reach him for comment.

In light of the incident, organizers of the Magic Valley Comic-Con in Twin Falls, where Rivera had been scheduled to appear this weekend, announced his withdrawal in an Instagram comment, notifying attendees that he would not be in attendance.

Rivera, also known as Hector David Jr., had been a regular cast member on the television series "Power Rangers Samurai" and had featured in the show "East Los High." It is unconfirmed whether his future involvement in these projects will be impacted by the ongoing legal situation.

The Nampa Police Department urges anyone with information about the whereabouts of Hector David Rivera to come forward.
