In the highly anticipated 2024 MLB All-Star Ballot presented by BuildSubmarines.com, New York Yankees' Aaron Judge and Philadelphia Phillies' Bryce Harper have emerged as the leading vote-getters for their respective leagues. With nearly 7 million ballots cast, Judge and Harper hold commanding positions in the fan voting.

Aaron Judge currently leads all candidates with an impressive 2,375,199 votes, making him the top vote-getter overall. Meanwhile, Bryce Harper has claimed the top spot in the National League, garnering 2,037,523 votes from eager fans across the country.

Should Judge and Harper maintain their positions until Phase 1 of the voting concludes on Thursday at noon ET, they will secure automatic starting spots in their league's lineup for the 2024 MLB All-Star Game presented by Mastercard. The highly anticipated exhibition game is scheduled to take place on July 16 at the iconic Globe Life Field in Arlington.

However, the landscape could change dramatically as the competition unfolds in the coming days. Judge faces stiff competition from his teammate Juan Soto, with less than 240,000 votes separating the two Yankees sluggers. Similarly, Harper finds himself in a close race with teammate Alec Bohm, who trails him by a mere 77,292 votes.

Other standout players who have garnered significant support in the voting include Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts, Jurickson Profar, Adley Rutschman, Gunnar Henderson, and Christian Yelich. Each of these players has received over 1.5 million votes from enthusiastic fans.

Phase 1 of the voting process will determine the leading vote-getter in each league, who will secure an automatic starting spot in their team's lineup. Additionally, the top two vote-getters at each position, along with the top six outfielders, will advance to Phase 2 of the voting, which commences on Sunday.

However, if an outfielder becomes the leading vote-getter in their league, only the next four outfield finalists will progress to Phase 2 to compete for the remaining two spots in the outfield positions.

Close races can be observed in several positions, especially in the American League. Ryan Mountcastle of the Baltimore Orioles is narrowly leading Vladimir Guerrero Jr. of the Toronto Blue Jays at first base. Similarly, Jose Altuve of the Houston Astros holds a slight edge over Marcus Semien of the Texas Rangers at second base. The designated hitter category sees Yordan Alvarez of the Astros leading but faces a tight competition from three players within a 30,000-vote range: Giancarlo Stanton of the New York Yankees, David Fry of the Guardians, and Ryan O'Hearn of the Orioles.

In the National League, Ketel Marte currently leads Luis Arraez by a narrow margin in the race for the second base position.

Fans eagerly await the outcome of the All-Star voting, as it will ultimately determine the star-studded lineups for the 2024 MLB All-Star Game. With Phase 2 approaching, the competition is expected to intensify as players vie for their chance to stand among the league's elite.

Official vote totals can be found in the article below, providing insights into the current All-Star vote standings for every position in both the American League (AL) and National League (NL).
