The Oklahoma Sooners' softball team is seeing an exodus of players, with two more athletes reportedly heading towards the transfer portal. Outfielder Hannah Coor and infielder Kadey Lee McKay are the latest names making moves, according to a report from D1Softball's Justin McLeod.

Hannah Coor, who has one year of eligibility remaining, has been a valuable defensive asset for the Sooners. Throughout her career, she has faced numerous injuries but found her stride in the 2024 season. Coor played 45 games with 23 starts, maintaining a .329 batting average, contributing four doubles, two home runs, and driving in 15 runs. However, the rise of freshman Sydney Barker towards the season's end reduced Coor's playing time, predominantly to a role as a defensive substitute during the SEC Tournament and NCAA Tournament.

Kadey Lee McKay, meanwhile, has three years of eligibility left but struggled to secure a place in the infield lineup as a freshman. McKay made seven appearances in the 2025 season but only managed five official plate appearances. With Coach Patty Gasso bringing back almost the entire infield roster except for Cydney Sanders, freshman Lexi McDaniel and Sydney Barker are expected to compete for starting positions.

The Sooners' outfield is set to see competition as well, with Kasidi Pickering and Abigale Dayton anticipated to continue their roles. Additionally, the incoming No. 1 overall recruit Kai Minor and returnee Tia Milloy will be vying for playing time.

Coor and McKay's decisions follow announcements from freshman catcher Corri Hicks and sophomore outfielder Maya Bland, who have also entered the transfer portal. Coach Gasso will have significant roster adjustments to consider as the team moves forward.
