The incident occurred after a 911 call was made reporting a disturbance and the presence of an adult male with a firearm.
Responding officers from the Nashua Police Department encountered the armed individual outside the home. During the confrontation, one officer discharged a less-than-lethal projectile, while three other officers fired their weapons at the man, according to officials.
After being shot, the man fled into the residence. Police later discovered him inside, where he was found non-responsive and suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Tragically, the man died at the scene.
