### Wisconsin Pizza Restaurant Issues Apology Following THC Contamination Incident

A well-known pizza restaurant in Stoughton, Wisconsin, has publicly apologized after discovering that some of its pizzas were inadvertently contaminated with THC. The incident occurred at Famous Yeti's Pizza, which serves the local community and beyond.

Public Health Madison and Dane County officials announced that the contamination happened in pizzas sold from October 21 to October 24. Customers who purchased pizzas during this period are being urged to discard them immediately.

The contamination issue was reportedly due to dough that was unintentionally prepared with Delta9 contaminated oil. This oil came from a shared storage area in the cooperative commercial kitchen used by multiple businesses. Famous Yeti's Pizza owner, Cale Ryan, explained in a Facebook post that the mistake was identified after both staff and customers reported unusual physical reactions.

After confirming the contamination, the restaurant took swift action. "All affected products have been destroyed," stated the apology post. "We are working closely with local authorities to enhance our storage and safety protocols to prevent future incidents." The restaurant has also encouraged those affected to contact them directly for more information.

The matter came to light after Stoughton EMS transported several individuals showing symptoms associated with THC consumption, all of whom had eaten at Famous Yeti's Pizza. Public Health Madison and Dane County, along with the Stoughton Police Department and the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection, are currently investigating the industrial kitchen where the contamination is believed to have originated.

Health officials advise anyone experiencing THC-related symptoms after consuming the contaminated pizza to seek medical attention or call 911 if symptoms worsen. Meanwhile, the owner of Famous Yeti's Pizza continues to cooperate fully with the ongoing investigation.

Famous Yeti's Pizza is located at 2300 Highway 51 in Stoughton, and the community is advised to stay informed on any further updates regarding this incident.
