**Travis Hunter Excels in Dual Role During Jaguars' OTAs**

The Jacksonville Jaguars are anticipating big things from Travis Hunter, their No. 2 overall draft pick, who has shown promise in both offensive and defensive roles during organized team activities (OTAs). Hunter, who has been vocal about his desire to contribute as both a wide receiver and a cornerback, is living up to the high expectations set for him.

The reigning Fred Biletnikoff Award winner and Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year has been impressing coaches and teammates alike with his dual-threat capabilities. In a recent highlight shared by the Jaguars, Hunter made an impressive interception while covering Darius Lassiter. Using his right arm, he deflected the pass and managed to secure the ball as he fell to the ground, showcasing his athleticism and quick reflexes.

Last season, while playing for the Colorado Buffaloes, Hunter accumulated 36 tackles, 11 passes defended, and four interceptions. Although the Jaguars plan to use him more as a wide receiver, Hunter’s defensive skills have caught the eye of secondary coach Ron Milus.

“Milo came up to me after practice and said, 'Can we have him more?’” recounted Jaguars coach Liam Coen. "That's a good thing, right? We were in the red zone on Friday and although he didn't make any plays on the ball, his movement skills in man coverage and his natural feel in zone coverage were evident. He’s still learning and growing, but he doesn’t look out of place in the team setting.”

With his impressive performance in OTAs, Hunter is quickly proving that he can be a valuable asset on both sides of the ball for the Jaguars this season.
