**Three Dead, One Seriously Injured in Fiery Tesla Cybertruck Crash in Piedmont**

In the early hours of Wednesday, tragedy struck in Piedmont, California when a Tesla Cybertruck accident claimed the lives of three individuals and left one person seriously injured. The Piedmont Police Department received a collision alert from an iPhone just after 3 a.m. that pinpointed the crash location, as detailed by Chief Jeremy Bowers.

Shortly after the alert, a 911 call confirmed the terrible incident. First responders arrived to discover the single-vehicle collision had erupted into a blaze. Another motorist's swift actions managed to pull one individual from the burning Cybertruck before responders arrived on scene. Officers attempted to control the inferno with extinguishers but were unsuccessful; the flames proved too intense.

The Piedmont Fire Department eventually arrived and managed to extinguish the fire. Early indications suggest that all individuals involved may have attended the same function before the crash. At this time, police have not released information regarding the identities of those killed.

Speed reportedly played a role in the accident, though other factors are believed to have also contributed to the deadly occurrence. Authorities have noted there is currently no evidence pointing to a mechanical failure in the electric vehicle. The investigation is being conducted in cooperation with the California Highway Patrol.
