In a thrilling expansion of the Sheridanverse, Taylor Sheridan's interconnected dramas set in the American heartland, the latest addition takes the form of a fine dining experience in Las Vegas. The much-anticipated Four Sixes Ranch Steakhouse has recently opened its doors at Wynn, marking a culinary venture that combines the flavors of the 6666 Ranch in Texas with the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas.
The Four Sixes Ranch Steakhouse has already generated an overwhelming response even before its official opening on September 16. Thousands of reservations and numerous buyout requests have flooded in, showcasing the intense interest surrounding this unique dining concept. Brian Gullbrants, COO of Wynn Resorts North America, expresses his excitement at the incredible demand, further cementing the anticipation surrounding this venture.
Taking over the space of Wynn's breakfast and brunch restaurant, Tableau, the new steakhouse will offer a menu centered around beef sourced from Taylor Sheridan's own 6666 Ranch in Guthrie, Texas. Acquiring the expansive 266,000-acre Texas ranch in 2022, Sheridan, alongside a group of investors, paid a reported $320 million for the iconic property. Long featured in his TV series Yellowstone and set to return for the final episodes in November, the 6666 Ranch is also the anticipated location for the in-development series 6666.
To mark the public debut of the Four Sixes Ranch Steakhouse, a star-studded event was held, graced by a lineup of celebrities, many of whom are well-known from Sheridan's shows. The likes of Harrison Ford, Brandon Sklenar, and Demi Moore, among others, joined the festivities, adding to the glamour and excitement surrounding the unveiling of this remarkable dining experience.
This collaboration between Wynn and Sheridan isn't their first rodeo together. In 2021, they struck a partnership deal with 101 Studios, the producers of Sheridan's popular Yellowstone series, Mayor of Kingstown, Tulsa King, and the upcoming Landman. This collaboration resulted in a series of Hollywood-centric experiences hosted by Wynn, including premieres for 1883 and 1923, as well as serving as the official home for the Yellowstone podcast.
Taylor Sheridan's content has captivated audiences and sparked an interest in the ranching lifestyle, leading to a wide range of products catering to fans' cowboy desires. From branded sauces and seasonings to clothing and jewelry, Sheridan has brought a taste of the Western frontier to his avid followers. With the opening of the Four Sixes Ranch Steakhouse, fans can now indulge in the renowned beef straight from his own ranch in the heart of Las Vegas.
Operating a restaurant that serves beef raised on his own ranch has been a lifelong goal for Sheridan. The menu at Four Sixes Ranch Steakhouse is curated from the authentic dishes served at the 6666 Ranch's chuck wagon. Executive chef David Middleton, along with Christopher Lee, Wynn's vice president of culinary operations and restaurant development, collaborated closely with Sheridan and producer David Glasser to create a menu that perfectly captures the essence of Sheridan's TV empire.
The menu features six signature steaks sourced from the 6666 Ranch, ranging from a 9-ounce filet mignon to the impressive 40-ounce "The Ranch Boss Cut" Porterhouse. While the selection is more concise compared to traditional steakhouses, it offers unique cuts, including "Taylor's Cut" – an inside skirt steak known for its full flavor. Sheridan is clear about authentic Texas preparations, emphasizing cooking over wood with salt and pepper when outdoors, and using cast iron pans for indoor cooking.
One showstopper on the menu is the 48-ounce Japanese Purebred Freedom Wagyu Tomahawk, priced at $999.90 as a playful nod to the 6666 Ranch. Sourced from Grazing Star Ranch, located near Sheridan's Wyoming property, this wagyu beef is 100 percent purebred. The cattle feed on natural hay, resulting in a unique and delectable flavor profile.
Beyond the tempting steaks, the Four Sixes Ranch Steakhouse also showcases other Texan-inspired delights. The opulent caviar tower is accompanied by an assortment of finger foods, including potato tots, kettle chips, deviled quail eggs, brioche toast, and country-fried chicken tenders. The Texas Twinkie, a unique creation, features a gutted Hatch chile stuffed with cheddar, cream cheese, and 12-hour smoked brisket, wrapped in bacon, and finished with barbecue sauce and hot honey.
Even the cocktails at Four Sixes Ranch Steakhouse reflect Taylor Sheridan's influence, incorporating his signature seasonings. The Wide Open Spaces cocktail, a twist on the classic "Ranch Water" cocktail, is garnished with cilantro-spiced "Cowboy" salt. Additionally, the blackened ribeye features the renowned 6666 Original Cowboy Spice Blend.
This highly anticipated pop-up steakhouse is set to run until early 2025, with hopes of becoming a permanent fixture at Wynn. Taylor Sheridan, the creative force behind the Sheridanverse, is optimistic about the future possibilities that Four Sixes Ranch Steakhouse holds. As fans flock to Las Vegas to experience the flavors of the American heartland, the Four Sixes Ranch Steakhouse promises to be a must-visit destination for both Sheridan's devoted followers and culinary enthusiasts alike.
