**Steelers Face QB Challenge as Fields Likely Sidelined Against Giants**

The Pittsburgh Steelers are gearing up to play the New York Giants on Monday Night Football, but they might have to do so without quarterback Justin Fields. Reports indicate that Fields is battling a hamstring injury, making his participation in the upcoming game doubtful. FOX NFL Sunday's Jay Glazer shared that he recently spoke with Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin, who revealed that Fields "tweaked his hamstring late this week."

Although Tomlin isn't completely ruling out Fields for Monday's game, he is not optimistic about the young quarterback’s availability. As a result, Russell Wilson is set to start his second consecutive game for Pittsburgh. The Steelers had initially planned to employ a dynamic quarterback duo with both Fields and Wilson, but the injury has thrown a wrench into those plans.

"There was hope to use both QB talents," Glazer reported, "but the injury to Fields has reshaped their strategy." Last week, there were rumors that the Steelers had special packages ready for Fields, who contributed to the team’s strong 4-2 start. However, Wilson's solid performance led to a comfortable win, and Fields did not take the field.

Now, with Fields likely out, the pressure mounts on Wilson, who lacks the safety net of a rotational quarterback strategy. If the Steelers are intent on letting Wilson lead the offense, they'll need to ensure he has the support and protection he needs to thrive.
