**Wilson in Consideration to Start Against the Jets, Says Coach Tomlin**

PITTSBURGH — Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson could make his return to the starting lineup this Sunday against the New York Jets. According to coach Mike Tomlin, Wilson’s performance in practice last week demonstrated his health, although some rust remains to be addressed.

Tomlin indicated that he will choose between Wilson and Justin Fields as the starting quarterback closer to game time. “I got comfortable with his ability to display his health [last week],” Tomlin explained regarding Wilson. "Now it's about knocking the rust off. He is in consideration this week. We'll see where that leads us."

Both Wilson and Fields are scheduled to participate in practice on Wednesday. Tomlin emphasized that they will take the decision day by day, with the ultimate goal of positioning the team for a win on Sunday.

The Steelers are hopeful that Wilson's potential return can provide a boost to their offense as they prepare to take on the Jets. Fans and players alike eagerly await Tomlin's final decision as game day approaches.
