In a shocking turn of events, South Korean singer Park Boram, known for her decade-long career in the music industry, has tragically passed away at the age of 30, as confirmed by her agency Xanadu Entertainment.

The news was shared by Xanadu in a heartfelt statement, expressing deep sadness and sorrow over her sudden demise. Park Bo Ram unexpectedly passed away late at night on April 11, leaving artists and executives at Xanadu Entertainment grieving the loss. The agency expressed their condolences to the deceased and her family, indicating that the funeral arrangements will be made in consultation with the bereaved's family.

According to The Korea Herald, Boram was at a friend's home with two other women when she suddenly collapsed in cardiac arrest. Despite immediate medical attention and being rushed to the hospital, she tragically succumbed to her condition approximately an hour later. The police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding her untimely death.

Park Boram's career had seen significant success in her native South Korea ever since her appearance as a contestant in 2010 on Mnet's "Superstar K2," where she finished in eighth place. Her debut single "Beautiful" achieved remarkable popularity, reaching No. 2 on Korea's Circle Digital Chart in 2014. The song, which had a semi-autobiographical quality, shed light on the immense societal pressure to conform to beauty standards.

In the subsequent years, Park Boram released her first EP titled "Celepretty" in 2015, securing another top 10 entry with the title track.
