This comes after Wiggins was involved in a car crash on Wednesday. While Ravens coach John Harbaugh assured that Wiggins is healthy and fine, he will not be able to take the field. Wiggins, a rookie cornerback, becomes the fourth Ravens player to be involved in a car accident this summer. Among the others were tight end Mark Andrews, outside linebacker Kyle Van Noy, and inside linebacker Josh Ross. The Ravens added Wiggins to the injury report on Thursday with a neck injury, and he did not participate in practice on either Thursday or Friday.

In the season opener against the Kansas City Chiefs, Wiggins, who was the 30th overall pick in this year's draft, showed promise as a backup. He made two tackles and played 17 snaps on defense. However, it remains uncertain how long Wiggins will be sidelined beyond Week 2. Harbaugh stated that the doctors are still unsure about the extent of his injury and how it may affect his availability in future games.

On a more positive note for the Ravens, Kyle Van Noy returned to practice on Friday after missing the past two days with an eye injury.
