**Eagles Release Linebacker Devin White After Brief Stint**

The Philadelphia Eagles have terminated the contract of veteran linebacker Devin White, ending his brief tenure with the team. White, who joined the Eagles in March, never found a fitting role within their defense and was inactive for the initial four games of the season.

Devin White, a first-round pick in 2019, previously played five seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. During his time with the Bucs, White achieved significant milestones, including a second-team All-Pro selection and playing a key role in their Super Bowl victory during his second season. Despite these accomplishments, White's performance saw a decline last year when he and the Bucs were unable to agree on a new contract.

White's release from the Eagles suggests the team is looking to optimize their roster by investing in players who fit more seamlessly into their current defensive scheme. With his stint in Philadelphia concluded, speculation will now turn to whether White can secure another opportunity to prove his value in the NFL.
