The Morning Show, which delves into the ruthless world of morning news and the lives of those behind the scenes, has become well-known for its impressive cast. Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Aniston, Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Karen Pittman, Greta Lee, Jon Hamm, and Nicole Beharie are just a few of the talented individuals already part of the show.
The storyline of Season 3 left fans on the edge of their seats, as the fate of UBA - the network at the center of the series - hung in the balance. Alex, played by Jennifer Aniston, managed to thwart Paul Marks, portrayed by Jon Hamm, effectively preventing the sale of UBA to his tech company, Hyperion. However, things are looking uncertain as UBA now faces a possible merger with another media company to stay afloat. This development hints at potential layoffs and restructuring in the upcoming Season 4.
The Morning Show is executive produced by Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston, with Mimi Leder as the director and executive producer. Additional executive producers include Michael Ellenberg, and the show is produced by Media Res, Hello Sunshine, a Candle Media company, and Echo Films. Serving as showrunner and executive producer is Charlotte Stoudt, who has a multi-year overall deal with Apple TV+ for scripted television series. Mimi Leder also holds a multi-year overall deal with Apple TV+, combining executive producing and directing roles.
Marion Cotillard's talent and accolades speak for themselves. She became the second French actress to ever win an Academy Award and the first to win for a performance in the French language. Her memorable portrayal of Edith Piaf in the 2007 film La Vie En Rose earned her the prestigious award. Currently, she can be seen starring in Mona Achache's docudrama, Little Girl Blue, where she plays the role of a woman who unravels buried family secrets.
Excitement around Marion Cotillard continues to build as she prepares to join the cast of The Morning Show. Later this year, her fans can also look forward to her appearance in Ellen Kuras' film Lee, alongside Kate Winslet, Jude Law, Andrea Riseborough, and Josh O'Connor.
Marion Cotillard is represented by Agence Adequat in France and CAA in the U.S.
With Cotillard's addition to the ensemble cast, Season 4 of The Morning Show promises to deliver even more intrigue and intense drama when it returns to AppleTV+.
