**Packers' QB Jordan Love Set to Play Through Groin Injury Against Lions**
Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love is poised to take the field despite a groin injury on Sunday against the Detroit Lions. According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the Packers are leaning towards having Love play, despite listing him as questionable after he sustained the injury last Sunday in Jacksonville.
Love, who practiced on a limited basis this Thursday and Friday, will be a game-time decision, as stated by Coach Matt LaFleur. "We'll give him up to game time to see how he's feeling," LaFleur mentioned, though Pelissero's report suggests that the team is confident Love will be ready to go.
The Sunday matchup against the Lions carries significant weight, as Detroit, currently leading the NFC North with a 6-1 record and on a five-game winning streak, will host a Packers squad fighting for the top spot in the division. The winner of this game will take first place entering Week 10.
Jordan Love, who was injured while extending a play in the first quarter against the Jacksonville Jaguars, managed to play through the first half before exiting early in the third quarter. Despite the injury, Love has made an impact this season with 15 touchdown passes, though he leads the league with nine interceptions over his six starts.
Backup quarterback Malik Willis has stepped in effectively during Love's absence due to a sprained MCL earlier in the season. Willis led the Packers to consecutive victories against the Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans and orchestrated a game-winning drive against the Jaguars. If Love experiences a setback or needs to leave the game on Sunday, Willis is expected to take over as the signal-caller.
