**Colts QB Anthony Richardson Unlikely to Play Against Jaguars Due to Injury**

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson is now listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, following an oblique injury sustained in last week's narrow 27-24 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Richardson's injury came after a high-speed collision with a defender and is effectively a deep bruise. While Richardson reported feeling better days after the incident, the team has been cautious, allowing him only limited practice time this week. He was restricted to casual throws during individual drills and was listed as a limited participant on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

With Richardson's status in doubt, veteran backup Joe Flacco is likely to step in as the starting quarterback. Flacco entered last week's game to help secure the win against Pittsburgh and would benefit from more extensive preparation this week. Reflecting on his increased practice time, Flacco noted that the opportunity to call plays regularly has helped him become more familiar with the game plan. Flacco completed 16 of 26 passes for 168 yards and two touchdowns against the Steelers without throwing any interceptions.

The Colts are facing multiple injury challenges beyond Richardson. Center Ryan Kelly is also listed as doubtful due to a neck injury, potentially missing his second consecutive game. Star running back Jonathan Taylor has been ruled out with an ankle sprain, while defensive end Tyquan Lewis was placed on injured reserve with an elbow injury. Additionally, cornerback Kenny Moore II will miss his second straight game with a hip issue.
