**Browns' Dawand Jones to Miss Rest of Season After Ankle Injury**
The Cleveland Browns will be without left tackle Dawand Jones for the remainder of the season following an ankle injury sustained in Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints. Head coach Kevin Stefanski revealed in a postgame press conference that Jones suffered a fractured ankle that will require surgery, ruling him out for the rest of the year.
Jones, who had just transitioned to left tackle this season after spending last season and the beginning of this one at right tackle, was making his third start on the left side. He stepped in for Jedrick Wills, who has been sidelined and inactive in the recent games.
With Jones now out, the Browns face a decision on how to fill the gap in their offensive line. Germain Ifedi stepped in to replace Jones during Sunday's game and could be poised to take on the starting role moving forward. Alternatively, if Wills is able to recover from his own injuries, he might return to the lineup and resume duties at left tackle.
The Browns will have to swiftly adjust their strategy as they look to navigate the rest of the season without one of their key offensive linemen, adding another challenge to their campaign.
