**Deshaun Watson Injured in Browns' Game Against Bengals**

Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson suffered a significant setback during Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals, leaving the field due to a non-contact leg injury. The injury occurred in the first half as Watson attempted to scramble, only for his right leg to betray him, causing him to collapse in visible pain.

As Watson lay on the turf, medical personnel attended to him while backup quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson started to warm up in preparation. Watson’s condition required him to be transported off the field via cart, with images capturing the emotional moment as he covered his face with a towel, visibly distressed.

Watson, who is 29 years old, is currently in his third season with the Browns. His journey to Cleveland began in 2022 when he was acquired from the Houston Texans. Watson initially made a name for himself in the NFL after being drafted in the first round out of Clemson in 2017 and subsequently earning Pro Bowl honors in three of his four seasons with the Texans.

However, Watson’s career took a tumultuous turn in 2021 when he faced serious allegations of sexual assault and misconduct from more than 20 women, leading to civil litigation. Although a grand jury in Houston chose not to indict him on criminal charges, Watson settled the lawsuits through confidential agreements. This controversy sidelined Watson for the entire 2021 season, and the Texans decided to part ways with their once-promising quarterback.

In March 2022, the Browns traded for Watson, who had agreed to waive his no-trade clause, and signed him to a historic five-year, $230 million contract, fully guaranteed—the largest guaranteed contract in NFL history. The Browns made this move in hopes that Watson would be the key to transforming a roster already brimming with talent on both sides of the ball into a championship team.

The coming days will reveal more about the extent of Watson's injury and its implications for the Browns' season, as they navigate the road ahead without their star quarterback.
