**Britney Spears Reunites with Son Jayden After Years of Estrangement**
In a heartwarming turn of events, pop icon Britney Spears has reconnected with her son Jayden James Federline after years of separation, sources exclusively reveal to Page Six. "They have been spending a lot of time together," an insider shares.
Jayden, now 18, recently returned to California where Spears resides, after moving to Hawaii with his brother, Sean Preston Federline, and their father, Kevin Federline, last year. While it remains unclear whether Jayden is staying at Spears' $7.4 million mansion in Thousand Oaks, sources confirm that his 19-year-old brother Preston still lives in Hawaii. "Britney is thrilled to have her baby back," another source adds. "Everything is moving in the right direction."
This in-person reunion follows a positive development six months ago when Jayden and Preston reached out to their mother with a phone call on Mother's Day. Kevin Federline's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, described this gesture as "a good sign" for rebuilding their relationship. Kaplan noted that, "Obviously a reconciliation/reunification is somewhat complex and can be a process that takes some time," adding that Kevin supports the boys maintaining a relationship with Spears.
The move to Hawaii occurred in August 2023 after Kevin's wife, Victoria Prince, secured a position as a volleyball coach at the University of Hawaii, prompting the family relocation. Spears had agreed to the move despite not being in contact with her teenage sons for over a year prior.
In a rare interview in September 2022, Jayden opened up about his strained relationship with Spears, who had been under a conservatorship for 13 years. He expressed hope for reconciliation, saying, "I 100 percent think this can be fixed. It's just going to take a lot of time and effort. I just want her to get better mentally. When she gets better, I really want to see her again."
Jayden also voiced concerns about his mother's frequent nude posts on social media, indicating it as a point of contention, and mentioned that Preston felt neglected in comparison. Despite these issues, Spears dedicated her October 2023 memoir, "The Woman in Me," to Jayden and Preston, referring to them as the "loves of [her] life."
Page Six has reached out to representatives for both Spears and Kevin Federline for further comments on the reunion.
