### Brie Garcia Opens Up About Sleepless Nights Amidst Sister Nikki's Tumultuous Divorce

Brie Garcia has been candidly sharing her emotional struggles as her sister, Nikki, navigates through a challenging divorce from Artem Chigvintsev. On the latest episode of their "Nikki & Brie" podcast, the former WWE star, who once wrestled with her sister under the name Brie Bella, disclosed that she has been losing sleep due to recent events, describing the trauma as comparable to the grief of death.

Garcia elucidated, "I have felt sadness in ways that maybe death could compare. I literally have lost sleep. I lay in my bed with my eyes open, and I think and I just think and think, and I think of so many different things." She expressed her deep concern, constantly wondering how she could fix or help the situation.

Though Brie did not go into specifics about the trauma, she clarified that she was not dealing with her own issues. "When you're trying to hold it together, trauma is a different beast. I've looked at trauma in the face over the last week and it has been so hard," she shared. "But you realize it's not your trauma, especially if you're not the one dealing with it... it's not for you to fix."

Nikki’s ongoing divorce has indeed been turbulent. Recently, she was granted a restraining order against Artem Chigvintsev following an alleged domestic violence incident in August. As per her filing, during the altercation at their Napa Valley home, Chigvintsev reportedly tackled her multiple times and pinned her down while their 4-year-old son, Matteo, was present. Nikki has requested full custody of their son.

Interestingly, Chigvintsev also received a restraining order against Nikki, counter-claiming that she was the aggressor in their conflict. His attorney, Ilona Antonyan, stated that he had reached out to law enforcement on August 29, 2024, seeking protection from what he described as his wife's persistent aggression, providing photographs of his injuries.
