Jennifer Lopez Returns to 'SNL' in Style, Performs Two Dazzling Sets

Jennifer Lopez made her fourth appearance on Saturday Night Live (SNL) as the musical guest, ahead of the release of her ninth studio album 'This Is Me... Now.' The 54-year-old singer and actress graced Studio 8H during the Feb. 3 episode, hosted by Ayo Edebiri from The Bear, and delivered two mesmerizing performances.

For her first set, Lopez performed a revamped version of her track "Can't Get Enough" alongside Latto and REDMAN, who made cameo appearances on stage. The pop superstar showcased her style in an updated suit, featuring a cropped black jacket, black pants with cut-out detailing, and a cropped white shirt. Her hair flowed down in loose waves, exuding elegance and confidence.

During her impressive dance moves, fans on social media took note of Lopez's professionalism when she encountered a hair-related wardrobe mishap. Despite the mishap, she seamlessly removed a loose hair extension and continued her dynamic performance without missing a beat, earning applause from admirers.

Later in the show, Lopez took the stage once again to perform the title track from her forthcoming album. She stunned in an off-the-shoulder floral floor-length gown, complemented by a thigh-high slit. Her sleek up-do hairstyle and minimal accessories, including her wedding jewelry and a bedazzled microphone, added to the overall glamour of her appearance.

This marks Lopez's first appearance on SNL since she hosted the show in 2019. Previously, the multi-talented artist had hosted and performed twice on the popular comedy series.

Ahead of her Saturday Night Live performance, Lopez showcased her stylish side in promo images posted on Instagram. Wearing a light gray blazer, a bright yellow skirt, and a white turtleneck blouse, she completed the ensemble with a gold statement belt and vibrant blue heels.

Lopez's highly anticipated album, 'This Is Me... Now,' is set to release on Feb. 16. Serving as a sequel to her 2002 album 'This Is Me... Then,' this marks a full-circle moment for the artist, completing a 20-year journey as mentioned in a press release. The album features 13 tracks, with Lopez playing a more significant role in the production and songwriting. Notably, the album includes "Dear Ben Pt. II," a follow-up to her 2002 love song.

In addition to her album, Lopez will debut a Prime Video feature film titled 'This Is Me... Now: A Love Story' on the same day. The film offers a musical and visual reimagining of her well-documented love life, including her relationship with husband Ben Affleck. The film also features appearances by Trevor Noah, Post Malone, Keke Palmer, Sofia Vergara, Affleck, and other notable figures.
