In the latest development of the Titans' head coaching search, Tennessee has reached out to the Cincinnati Bengals to schedule a second interview with Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan, as reported by Dan Graziano of ESPN.

Callahan, who has already undergone a virtual interview with the Titans, is unable to participate in an in-person interview until after the divisional-round weekend due to the NFL's new rules. These rules prohibit coaches currently under contract with a team from taking part in face-to-face interviews.

The 39-year-old Callahan has served as the Bengals' offensive coordinator since 2019. While he does not call plays, that responsibility falls upon head coach Zac Taylor within the Cincinnati coaching staff.

Hailing from a football family, Callahan is the son of former Raiders head coach and current Browns offensive line coach Bill Callahan. His talents have garnered interest from multiple teams during this year's coaching cycle, including the Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, and Los Angeles Chargers.

Although the specific date for Callahan's second interview has not been set, it is likely to be scheduled for next week, following the conclusion of the divisional-round matchups.

The Titans continue their search for the perfect candidate to take the helm as their head coach, aiming to make a decisive choice to lead the team towards future success.
