In an exciting move for Seahawks fans, the team announced on Thursday that they have officially signed Frank Clark to a one-year deal. Clark, who was drafted by the Seahawks in the second round of the 2015 draft, will be rejoining the team that helped launch his career.

After taking a visit to Seattle earlier this week, Clark's return to the Seahawks had been highly anticipated. Head coach Pete Carroll expressed his confidence in Clark's abilities, stating that he could potentially play as soon as Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns, as he is already familiar with the position the team requires him to play.

During his previous tenure with the Seahawks from 2015 to 2018, Clark showcased impressive stats, recording 35.0 sacks, 35 tackles for loss, and 72 quarterback hits in 62 games. In 2019, Clark was traded to the Kansas City Chiefs, where he enjoyed great success, winning two Super Bowls.

However, Clark's journey took another turn when he signed with the Denver Broncos in the spring as a free agent. Unfortunately, he only played two games for the Broncos before being released from the team.

In a corresponding move, the Seahawks have placed defensive end Uchenna Nwosu on injured reserve. Nwosu, who suffered a torn pectoral muscle, will be out for the remainder of the season.

The Seahawks' decision to sign Frank Clark brings depth and experience to their defensive line, as they aim to solidify their position in the highly competitive NFC West division. With Clark's impressive track record and familiarity with the team's system, the Seahawks are hopeful that his return will add strength to their defense and contribute to their success on the field.

Fans eagerly await Clark's first appearance in a Seahawks uniform once again, as they look forward to witnessing his impact on the team's performance and the possibility of securing important victories in the weeks to come.
