In a heartwarming gesture of support, FanDuel TV host Kay Adams has decided to send New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones a care package after he suffered a season-ending ACL injury. According to the New York Post, Adams made this announcement on her morning show, "Up & Adams," where Jones often made weekly appearances.

During her show, Adams expressed her sympathies for Jones and his disappointing injury. She revealed that she and her team have prepared a special "Up & Adams" care package for the quarterback. Included in the package are Nerd Ropes, various candies, and a DVD of the movie "Kicking and Screaming," starring Will Ferrell.

Adams jokingly suggested that perhaps Ferrell should personally give Jones a call to boost his spirits. She then directly addressed Jones, wishing him a speedy recovery and assuring him that the "Up & Adams" crew was thinking of him.

Jones sustained his knee injury during the Giants' recent loss to the Raiders. The injury occurred just one play into the second quarter when he fell without any contact. Although he briefly remained in the game, his knee eventually gave out, forcing him to exit.

An MRI exam confirmed the news on Monday, revealing that Jones had suffered a torn ACL in his right knee, leading to the premature end of his season. Prior to the injury, Jones completed 4-of-9 passes for 25 yards.

In Jones' absence, backup quarterback Tommy DeVito took over and threw for 175 yards and a touchdown. Jones had only returned to the field in Week 9 after missing three games due to a neck injury.

With an unfortunate total of 11 missed games, Jones will now have to focus on the recovery process. Meanwhile, the Giants, who currently hold a 2-7 record, are set to face their NFC East rival, the Dallas Cowboys (5-3), on November 12.

The gesture from Kay Adams and her team exemplifies the camaraderie and support within the football community. As Jones undergoes rehabilitation, he can take comfort in knowing that his fans, along with his colleagues, are rallying behind him and wishing him a swift return to the game he loves.
