Indianapolis - The Indianapolis Colts have made a significant roster move on Tuesday by signing linebacker Ronnie Harrison Jr. to their 53-man roster from the practice squad.

Harrison Jr., standing at 6-3 and weighing 214 pounds, has spent the entire season on the Colts' practice squad since initially joining the team as a free agent on August 14, 2023. The linebacker brings a wealth of experience, having played in a total of 67 career games, with 45 starts, for the Colts (2023), Cleveland Browns (2020-22), and Jacksonville Jaguars (2018-19).

Throughout his career, Harrison Jr. has been a consistent playmaker on defense. He has accumulated 219 tackles, with 145 solo tackles, along with 9.0 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, 23 passes defensed, five interceptions (including one returned for a touchdown), two fumble recoveries, and four special teams stops. Additionally, he has participated in two postseason contests, starting in one, and has recorded seven tackles, with five being solo tackles, and 1.0 tackle for loss.

Harrison Jr. was originally selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft, being chosen as the 93rd overall pick out of Alabama. His proven track record and versatility make him a valuable addition to the Colts' defense as they push forward in the current season.
