"You had an unobstructed path to your opponent, and the illegal contact could have been avoided. Illegal acts that jeopardize the safety of players will not be tolerated."

This suspension comes on the heels of Jackson's previous two-game suspension for the same rule violation. Initially, the suspension was set for four games, but it was later reduced to two games on appeal. Jackson is expected to appeal this latest suspension as well.
