Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan has been catching the attention of several NFL teams in this year's head coaching searches. With four interviews already under his belt, Callahan is now set to have additional discussions with the Titans, Falcons, and Panthers.
According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Media, the Titans have expressed their interest in interviewing Callahan for a second time. The Falcons and Panthers have also joined the mix in requesting further conversations with the Bengals' offensive coordinator.
With the ability to engage in in-person interviews starting this week, teams are looking forward to having face-to-face discussions with potential candidates like Callahan. These meetings are expected to take place at team facilities, offering a more traditional approach compared to the remote interviews conducted in the past weeks.
The Falcons have demonstrated their thoroughness in the hiring process by meeting with Bill Belichick twice and are reportedly scheduling a second meeting with Jim Harbaugh as well. On the other hand, the Panthers have not conducted any second interviews at this point.
Callahan's impressive work with the Bengals' offense has drawn attention from the league, leading to his increased demand as a potential head coach. As the hiring process unfolds, it remains to be seen which team will secure Callahan's services and whether he will make the leap to a head coaching role in the NFL.
