Jeremy Allen White, known for his role in the Emmy-winning series "The Bear," recently confessed in an interview that he has never watched any of the "High School Musical" movies. However, he has made a promise to his co-star Zac Efron that he will give them a chance in the future.

During a conversation on the "Just for Variety" podcast, White shared his admission, saying, "I haven't seen them. Sorry, Zac. I will watch them. I will." He humorously added that he would only do so if Efron held his hand throughout the screenings. The two actors have formed a close bond while working together on their upcoming wrestling drama film, "The Iron Claw."

In fact, White and Efron recently attended the premiere of "The Iron Claw" at the DGA in West Hollywood, following White's attendance at Efron's Hollywood Walk of Fame star unveiling. The film follows the story of the Von Erich wrestling dynasty, with White portraying Kerry Von Erich and Efron playing Kevin Von Erich.

Despite not having watched the popular "High School Musical" franchise, White's focus has been on his wrestling training for "The Iron Claw." While wrestling was a limited part of his own life, White revealed that it held significance for his father, who had won championships in high school. In preparation for the film, the ensemble received rigorous training, led by professional wrestler Chavo Guerrero.

Reflecting on the physical challenges, White expressed gratitude for the support and guidance of his co-stars and professional wrestlers involved in the project. He admitted feeling daunted by the seemingly impossible moves performed in professional wrestling but praised the assistance he received in making his performance look believable.

As for "The Bear," White confirmed that the production of its third season would begin early next year. While he didn't disclose any specific details about the upcoming season, he mentioned his fondness for wearing sweater vests, a trademark style that fans have noticed.

In the engaging interview, White's down-to-earth personality and sense of humor shined through as he discussed his acting career, past experiences in dance, and his penchant for comfortable and stylish clothing.

Jeremy Allen White's admission of not watching the "High School Musical" movies may come as a surprise to fans, but his promise to give them a chance shows his willingness to explore new genres and support his co-star's work. With his upcoming role in "The Iron Claw," White continues to demonstrate his versatility as an actor, captivating audiences with his performances.
