5 Million Mansion for Offseason Retreat
Olivia Culpo, the renowned model and fashion influencer, has recently unveiled her stunning $3.5 million mansion in Encino, Calif., which serves as a serene sanctuary for her and fiancé Christian McCaffrey during the NFL offseason. Culpo purchased the lavish property before McCaffrey was traded to the San Francisco 49ers in 2022, and it has now become their main residence once the NFL season comes to a close.
In an interview with Architectural Digest in 2021, Culpo expressed her desire for a calming retreat away from the noise and commotion of Hollywood. She envisioned her home as a respite, a place of tranquility. It took her years to furnish the house, which was previously shared with her sister Sophia before McCaffrey moved in. With a revolving door of family members and constant activity, Culpo opted for multiple guest rooms to accommodate her many guests.
One of the standout spaces in the mansion is the "adults-only" family room, which doubles as a music room. Adorned with high ceilings, a marble fireplace, an iron chandelier, and matching iron cabinets, the room houses Culpo's beloved century-old cello. Throughout the house, Culpo has added sentimental touches, including a record player in the living room gifted by McCaffrey, along with a record showcasing their favorite songs. In the entertainment space, she proudly displays a hand-drawn map of her home state, Rhode Island, and a picture of the talented running back himself.
The mansion boasts a chic billiards room, complete with a marble backsplash and neutral-tone pool balls. Culpo's personal favorite room, however, is the flamboyant master bedroom she shares with McCaffrey. Decorated in cooler tones, the room features an iron canopy bed against a white shiplap wall. Culpo added a touch of glamour with a fluted glass chandelier, embracing her inner elegance. The bedroom opens up to a balcony overlooking the expansive backyard, which features a resort-like pool area. The couple also enjoys a his-and-hers bathroom area with two separate "toilet areas."
Culpo's woman cave, a spacious walk-in closet, is another cherished retreat for the fashionista. Equipped with a lock to keep her sister from "borrowing" her clothes, the closet houses not only her pricey handbags and designer duds but also her treasured Miss Universe and Miss USA crowns she earned in 2012.
While it remains unclear where Culpo and McCaffrey stay when they are in the Bay Area, McCaffrey recently sold his Charlotte condo for $3 million in late 2023 and listed his sprawling French château-inspired estate for $12.5 million. The couple's journey together began in 2019, and they got engaged in April 2023.
With its tranquil ambiance, stunning interiors, and personalized touches, Olivia Culpo's $3.5 million Encino mansion provides the perfect offseason retreat for the couple, allowing them to unwind and recharge away from the hustle and bustle of their careers.
