As the highly anticipated Galaxy Unpacked 2024 event draws near, leaks surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S24 series have been surfacing with increasing frequency. The event, now confirmed to be taking place on January 17, has generated significant buzz among tech enthusiasts. Recent leaks have given a sneak peek at the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, while also providing insight into the potential pricing of all three upcoming devices.

Adding to the rumor mill, another price leak has emerged, shedding light on the European pricing for the Galaxy S24 series. According to an alleged French-language document outlining the terms and conditions for a Galaxy S24 competition, the base model (presumably the Samsung Galaxy S24) will have a starting price of €899. The Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus, on the other hand, is said to have a starting price of €1,169, while the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra may start at €1,469.

It should be noted that these prices are specific to France and may differ in other regions. The leaked document suggests that the Samsung Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus would have a €50 price drop compared to the European launch prices of their predecessors, the Samsung Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus. Conversely, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is rumored to have a €60 price increase over the previous model.

While converting these figures into other currencies may not be helpful due to varying tax regulations, it is worth considering the potential price changes for the Galaxy S24 line. If we take into account an earlier European price leak, which indicated that the Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus may start at €899 and €1,159, respectively, we can speculate that Samsung might apply similar price adjustments globally.

For comparison, the Galaxy S23 was launched with a starting price of $799.99 in the US, £849 in the UK, and AU$1,349 in Australia. The Galaxy S23 Plus, meanwhile, had a starting price of $999.99, £1,049, and AU$1,649, while the Galaxy S23 Ultra came with a price tag of $1,199.99, £1,249, and AU$1,949.

It is important to note that rumors suggest the Galaxy S24 Plus and S24 Ultra will come with increased RAM compared to their predecessors, potentially providing even better value for consumers. In light of this, a lower starting price for the S24 Plus could be seen as a compelling offer, while a slightly higher starting price for the S24 Ultra might be justified in Samsung's eyes.

However, it is crucial to remember that all pricing information for the Galaxy S24 series remains speculative until official details are unveiled. Fortunately, eager fans won't have to wait much longer, as the first Galaxy Unpacked event of the year is set to commence on January 17. Stay tuned as we cover all the exciting announcements live from San Jose starting at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm GMT, or 5am AEDT on January 18.
