OpenAI, the creator of the renowned ChatGPT, is all set to dazzle developers with exciting new features and offerings at its first-ever developer conference, DevDay. The event, scheduled to begin on November 6, has been eagerly anticipated by the AI community. While OpenAI's CEO, Sam Altman, has hinted at "great stuff" for developers, recent leaks and speculations have shed some light on what can be expected.

The leaks, initially reported by Maximilian Schreiner at The Decoder, suggest that OpenAI will be introducing a brand new user interface for ChatGPT. This update promises to enhance the chatbot experience for users. Additionally, OpenAI is rumored to be launching a new tool that will enable third parties to build their own chatbots using different styles, responses, and limitations, built upon OpenAI's powerful Language Models (GPT-3.5 and GPT-4).

Another potential feature in the pipeline is the introduction of "connectors." These connectors would allow ChatGPT users to integrate their third-party cloud drives, such as Google Drive and Microsoft 365, to access and utilize information from within files. If true, this functionality would surpass Google Bard's capabilities to surface relevant information from Gmail and Google Drive.

In addition to these exciting updates, OpenAI is also reportedly planning to introduce new subscription plans. One such plan, called the Team Plan, is expected to be priced at $30 per month, with a discounted rate of $25 when paid annually, per user for up to three members. This plan offers unlimited access to fast GPT-4, enhances context capabilities by up to 4 times, and grants users unlimited use of the Advanced Data Analytics model.

Although OpenAI has yet to officially comment on the leaks, the wider AI community is buzzing with anticipation and considering the leaks to be highly plausible. Jim Fan, NVIDIA's senior AI scientist, expressed his excitement on LinkedIn, writing, "It'll be a pivotal moment for the AI consumer market. OpenAI is becoming a full-blown UGC platform, where users can create and share any AI agents."
