Following the conclusion of an external investigation that cleared Red Bull Formula 1 team boss Christian Horner of misconduct allegations, materials from the investigation were leaked to senior F1 figures and journalists. An email titled "Christian Horner investigation evidence" was sent to a list of 150 F1 personnel on Thursday during the Bahrain Grand Prix, excluding Red Bull and Red Bull Racing. In response to the leak, a statement was issued on Horner's behalf, stating that he would not comment on "anonymous speculation". Horner reiterated his denial of the allegations and expressed his focus on the start of the season. The leak has been seen as an attempt to pressure or discredit Horner after the investigation ruled in his favor. Rival team bosses called for more transparency following Red Bull's limited statement on Wednesday. It remains unknown if the complainant will appeal Red Bull's decision or pursue legal action, possibly reopening the investigation process elsewhere. Red Bull GmbH has emphasized the need for confidentiality over the leaked materials and may further investigate who shared them. F1 and the FIA have not commented on the situation, and it is unclear if Red Bull's engine partner, Ford, has been satisfied with the resolution of the matter.
