The NFL Combine week has commenced in Indianapolis, where team officials, media members, and draft prospects have gathered for a week full of activities. The schedule includes registration, orientation, team interviews, medical exams, measurements, on-field workouts, and bench press sessions spread out over five days.

On day one, defensive players are the first to arrive, with offensive players following later in the week. Notably, Saturday will see quarterbacks, running backs, and wide receivers participating in workouts, likely to draw more attention. Ahead of player interviews, NFL head coaches and general managers will meet with the media, with John Lynch scheduled to speak at 11 a.m. PT on Tuesday.

The schedule includes media availability for different player positions throughout the week, with on-field workouts for defensive linemen and linebackers, defensive backs and tight ends, quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers, and offensive linemen and specialists at various times.

One question on the minds of fans is whether the 49ers will have a new defensive coordinator by the time Lynch addresses the media. It remains to be seen if any announcement will be made during his session.

As the Combine week unfolds in Indianapolis, all eyes are on the upcoming talent showcase and how teams will evaluate players based on their performances in various drills and interviews. Stay tuned for more updates on the San Francisco 49ers and other NFL happenings.
