Former Bills cornerback Tre'Davious White is in high demand as he searches for his next team, with visits lined up with the Rams, Titans, Giants, and expectedly the Raiders, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
White, 29, is looking to make a strong comeback after suffering a torn Achilles during Week 4 of the 2023 season. The injury limited him to only 21 games over the past three years. In 2021, he also endured an ACL tear, which kept him out of action for most of 2022. However, he managed to make a comeback and started six games as well as played in two postseason matchups for the Buffalo Bills.
Despite his injury setbacks, White's talent and contributions to the Bills have not gone unnoticed. The former first-round pick was named the AP first-team All-Pro in 2019 and received second-team All-Pro honors in 2020. Throughout his career, he has amassed impressive stats, including 68 passes defensed, 18 interceptions, five forced fumbles, and five fumble recoveries.
White's visit schedule reflects the interest and confidence that teams have in his ability to bounce back from his injuries and continue to be an impactful player in the league. The Rams will be the first team to host White on Tuesday, followed by visits with the Titans and Giants later this week. The Raiders are also expected to extend a meeting invitation to the talented cornerback.
Having spent his entire career with the Buffalo Bills, White was released earlier this month, opening up opportunities for him to explore new options and find a fresh start. As he embarks on his visits and evaluates potential landing spots, White will undoubtedly be looking for a team that can provide the right environment for him to thrive and contribute at the highest level once again.
