**Zelenskyy Rallies U.S. Support for Ukraine's Victory Plan Amid War with Russia**

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's recent visit to the United States has focused on garnering support for Ukraine amidst its ongoing conflict with Russia. During his trip, Zelenskyy held discussions with U.S. President Joe Biden and Democratic presidential contender Kamala Harris on Thursday, where he outlined what he identifies as his "victory plan" for Ukraine. Although the full details of the plan have yet to be unveiled, several elements have been made public through interviews and media reports.

Zelenskyy's strategy is reported to be a comprehensive five-point plan designed to bring Ukraine to a position strong enough to negotiate with Russia on favorable terms. In a conversation with ABC News, Zelenskyy referred to this plan as a "bridge" to a powerful negotiating stance, pushing for an end to the war in a way that meets Kyiv's conditions. Central to Ukraine's demands are the complete withdrawal of Russian forces from Ukrainian territories, including Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, and Luhansk, as well as Crimea. Furthermore, Ukraine insists on accountability for alleged war crimes by Russian authorities, including President Vladimir Putin.

Despite these demands, Russia has dismissed the proposed terms for negotiations. Zelenskyy emphasized that sustained support from Ukraine's allies could amplify pressure on Moscow to engage in a peace summit dedicated to discussing Kyiv's peace plan. The Ukrainian government's victory strategy reportedly includes security, political, and economic facets, with Zelenskyy emphasizing the need for expedited support from Western allies over the next three months.

On the political front, former U.S. President and current Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump criticized Zelenskyy on Wednesday for not pursuing a peace agreement with Russia. Trump has faced past criticism for purportedly weakening Ukraine's defense capabilities. Nevertheless, Trump declared on Friday his intention to meet with Zelenskyy during the latter's U.S. visit.

Zelenskyy's mission is clear: to rally American support and expedite assistance in bolstering Ukraine's stand against Russian aggression, paving the way for a negotiable and just end to the conflict.
