**Vice President Kamala Harris Publishes Health Report Amidst Election Year Scrutiny**

Vice President Kamala Harris has made her health records public for the first time, showcasing a clean bill of health from her White House physician, Dr. Joshua Simmons. In the summary released on Saturday, Dr. Simmons described Harris as "a healthy 59-year-old female" with a medical history limited to seasonal allergies and urticaria, which is commonly referred to as hives.

Dr. Simmons detailed that Harris manages her seasonal allergies with over-the-counter medications and has been undergoing allergen immunotherapy for the past three years to treat her urticaria. Importantly, the physician noted that Harris has never had severe allergic reactions, such as angioedema or anaphylactic shock.

Further into the report, Dr. Simmons highlighted Harris's commitment to a healthy lifestyle. He mentioned her practice of a balanced diet, consistent daily aerobic activities, and core strength training. According to Simmons, Harris occasionally participates in moderate alcohol consumption and abstains from tobacco use. The report reassuringly concluded, "She possesses the physical and mental resiliency required to successfully execute the duties of the Presidency."

Harris's last medical examination, conducted in April, yielded routine and unremarkable results, with all blood work and exams appearing normal. Apart from mild sun damage in exposed skin areas, no other concerns were noted.

The release of Harris's health records comes in a political landscape where transparency about medical fitness is often expected. Former President Donald Trump affirmed he would release his records to CBS in August, though none have yet been provided. His campaign spokesperson, Steven Cheung, defended Trump's health by citing past releases and claimed Trump's energetic campaign schedule underscores his vitality.

In an auxiliary narrative, Harris's campaign has shifted focus towards highlighting Trump's age and capacity, positioning the 78-year-old’s health as a key concern for voters. This strategy mirrors past criticisms leveled against President Joe Biden, who faced similar scrutiny regarding his age during his re-election efforts.

An ad from the Harris campaign recently questioned Trump's fitness by showing him slurring his words and suggesting potential incapacitation could leave his running mate, Sen. JD Vance, in charge. The political discourse around candidates' health records continues to unfold as the electoral race intensifies.
