This announcement marks the Biden Administration's sixty-third tranche of equipment to be provided from DoD inventories to Ukraine since August 2021.

With an estimated value of $125 million, this Presidential Drawdown Authority (PDA) package aims to address Ukraine's critical security needs. The assistance package includes various capabilities to enhance Ukraine's defense capabilities and safeguard its borders.

Among the equipment provided are air defense capabilities, multi-mission radars for detecting and countering enemy artillery, and anti-tank weapons. To support artillery capabilities, ammunition for High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS), 155mm and 105mm artillery ammunition will also be provided.

Furthermore, the package includes tube-launched, optically tracked, wire-guided (TOW) missiles, Javelin and AT-4 anti-armor systems, as well as High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) ambulances to ensure the safety and well-being of Ukrainian forces.

Recognizing the importance of protecting critical national infrastructure, the United States will also provide equipment specifically designed to safeguard these vital assets. In addition to hardware, the package will include spare parts, ancillary equipment, services, training, and transportation to ensure the efficient utilization of the provided resources.

This move by the United States demonstrates its ongoing commitment to supporting Ukraine in its efforts to defend against Russian aggression.
