### Trump Jr. Asserts Confidence in Assembling Competent and Loyal Cabinet

PALM BEACH, Fla. - Donald Trump Jr. expressed certainty on Sunday that the current team around President-elect Donald Trump possesses the know-how required to select a competent Cabinet and assemble an effective administration. He emphasized that the experience gained from their previous term has sharpened their ability to identify and position trustworthy individuals who align with their goals.

Speaking on Fox News Channel's "Sunday Morning Futures," Trump Jr. highlighted the importance of surrounding his father with loyal and capable individuals who are committed to fulfilling campaign promises. He indicated that the pushback some of these picks might encounter from the Washington establishment is actually a positive sign, reflecting their disruptive potential which aligns with voter expectations.

“A big difference this time is our understanding of the Washington landscape. We know who the good and bad actors are," he remarked, pointing out that loyalty and competence were now the primary criteria for the roles.

Reflecting on the initial days of the 2016 administration, Trump Jr. recalled that his father's inexperience with Washington ways led to choices from traditional Republican and business circuits, such as appointing former Exxon Mobil CEO Rex Tillerson as secretary of state. This time, personal allegiance is being prioritized above political pedigree.

Senate confirmations might pose challenges even though Republicans will hold a majority in January, but Trump Jr. brushed off these concerns. He asserted that such opposition underscores the transformative agenda of Trump's appointees and suggested they had contingency plans for problematic confirmations, focusing first on the most robust candidates.

Agreeing with Trump Jr., Sen. Eric Schmitt of Missouri emphasized the unique opportunity to challenge entrenched Washington norms and revert power to the populace. He praised the momentum behind the confirmations and the expected delivery of Trump’s campaign commitments.

Sen. Tommy Tuberville of Alabama reiterated the importance of a supportive team for Trump to achieve his objectives, stating, "We have the numbers. We don't need any Democrats to assist us, but Trump needs a collaborative team."

Adding to the discussion, Vivek Ramaswamy, a former Republican presidential candidate chosen by Trump alongside businessman Elon Musk to spearhead initiatives on government efficiency, anticipated resistance from the traditional political establishment. He advocated for quick strides through executive actions to achieve early wins in their reform agenda.
